Blogging Comments and Failed Delivery

Going to my serene place in the country because technology
can be so frustrating at times ....

I just want to throw out there that
I do visit other blogs and comment,
really I do! And I love receiving updates in my inbox.

But, as of late, I have been constantly receiving (with every comment I send)
a return email saying Fatal Delivery Error or something scary like that.
Well, I've done some digging around and found that
AOL, which I use for all of my email, is the culprit (for me).
Apparently you cannot use AOL email for "business" purposes
and because I own a domain name, I must use my own email address 
linked to that site. So stupid!
SO, I will be working on that fun stuff and switching over.

I am posting because I know others
are experiencing similar issues. My problem and solution
may or may not be the same as yours but at least it's something
to look into.

Now I think I need a glass of wine!


  1. Hello Amber! I am getting your emails but maybe just leave a comment on the blog instead of replying via email. I have never done a "reply" to a comment left on my blog. Just a thought. xox

  2. Oh yeah- We have discussed this before. What an awful mess. I think google is trying to make everyone use gmail-because it is the only one that just about always interacts properly with blogs. Gotta love/hate blogging xo Diana

  5. I get the same error message but people are getting my emails. I just ignore it. :)
