On The Menu

Our first show is exactly one week from today!
I've been working on my baking
menu and schedule {even in my sleep}
because this will be our first ever
pastry booth/show.

I have to admit; I'm secretly really, really glad
I'm baking instead of gathering goods and
having to do a full boutique set up.
Those were the days!

I have managed to put my husbands
carpentry skills to work with my
pastry stands (to sell) and
we'll be finishing up on some
chalkboards this weekend.
He's also making me an
awesome counter for our pastry display
cases which I'll be skirting in my beloved burlap.

Oh yes, I will take lots of pictures.

One other thing I've been playing with is
fabric remnants and the pumpkin stems
the kindergartners picked up for me at the patch
last year.

It's amazing what a thrift store bridesmaid dress can turn into.

Now to the menu...
We'll be bringing LOTS of deliciousness!

Cakes & cupcakes (in several flavors), mini pies, big 'ol cookies,
candied popcorn, dipped pretzels, an array of candies, our
ever famous Scones in several flavors, gourmet caramel apples and
lots of other yummy goodness!

It will be a very busy week but
I do not mind being busy in the kitchen!

I probably won't post again until after
the show so, if you are within driving distance,
come to the Market!

Petunia and I will be out in the big white tent
just in front of the straw bale seating area.

Come say hi!

p.s. The chocolate cake is to die for. Just sayin'!
p.s.s. There are some very good things coming down the line.
If you come to Market, you'll be the first to know.
(insert big cheesy grin)

    1. Oh Susie, you would love these scones. They are so tender and truly are a favorite here. And I agree, anything is good with some coffee or tea! I will be doing a small batch of Earl Grey cupcakes. They're different but delicious just the same. So glad you popped in to visit!

  5. Your booth was beautiful - wish I had thought to get some fabric pumpkins. The scones were perfection and the double chocolate - yum!
I hope I get to run up to Dreamfield Farms and sample some more.
It was also great to meet you face to face.
